Earth Fest, sponsored by Earth Day Southern Tier, is one of the longest-running continuous celebrations of Earth Day in the nation. We invite you to join in the festivities by participating with us in our annual Earth Fest each April at Roberson Museum and Science Center in Binghamton, NY.
Past and current sponsors and exhibitors have included local companies like IBM, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, NYSEG, Gault Toyota, Johnson Camping, Taylor Garbage, and Frito Lay; government organizations such as NY State DEC, Broome County Division of Solid Waste, Broome County Environmental Management Council, Susquehanna River Basin Commission and Cornell Cooperative Extension; and non-profit organizations like Animal Care Council, Finch Hollow Nature Center, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park and Waterman Conservation Education Center. You'll be in good company with dozens of businesses, retailers, crafts people and non-profit groups.
Earth Fest attracts thousands of visitors. Advance television, radio, and newspaper publicity builds anticipation for this event which includes non-stop live music, guest speakers, food, free garden seeds and tree seedlings, and hands-on children's activities. In 2008, the fest will be expanded with the addition of a River Trails Bicycle Cruise held in conjunction with the City of Binghamton and Chenango Point Cycles to highlight our theme: How Will We Get There?
Thousands of residents in the Southern Tier want to do what is right for the environment. They are searching for 'green' products and services and information about 'green' life-style changes. The best way to reach educated 'green' consumers in this area is to exhibit with us at Earth Fest.
We welcome you to contact our EDST Earth Fest coordinators listed below to discuss your participation in Earth Fest.
